 Accessibility statement of the Portaal.

The Belgian Police aims to make its websites accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Therefore, we endeavour to comply as fully as possible with the accessibility standards laid down by the law of 19 July 2018 transposing European directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of public authorities’ websites and mobile applications.

This accessibility statement applies to the Portaal.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are a set of standards for accessibility requirements for people with disabilities.

The Portaal is compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 level AA.

Accessibility audit

Our webplatform’s accessibility is checked regularly using an Accessibility check developed by FPS Policy and Support (BOSA).

This is a tool that can be installed in your browser's bookmarks bar which creates a report on the accessibility of the web page you are browsing using a set of tests.

Feedback and contact information

If, while browsing our website or campaign sites, you encounter other information (pdfs, images, etc.) or web pages that are not accessible to you, please let us know.
