Police Federal Council (PFC)

The Police Federal Council provides advice to the Belgian Ministers of Home Affairs and Justice, particularly on the draft National Security Plan (NSP) of which the implementation is regularly being assessed by the PFC.

The Police Federal Council is also in charge of the overall evaluation of the functioning and organization of the Federal Police and the Local Police Areas, in particular on the basis of an annual report drawn up by the General Inspectorate of the Federal Police and the Local Police ("AIG" in Dutch and in French).

The President of the Standing Commission of the Local Police is a full member of the Police Federal Council.
